How we handle your details

This notice covers quillgrid.in and the QuillGrid beta waitlist. It explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and how you can have it changed or deleted. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
When you join the beta, we collect what you type into the form:
- your name and work email;
- your website address;
- the platform your site runs on and how many posts a month you are interested in.
With each sign-up we also store:
- a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to stop spam and repeated sign-ups;
- your browser's user-agent string;
- how you reached us, if the link carried campaign tags (such as
utm_source) or came from another website, and which "Join the beta" button you used.
We do not set cookies and we do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.
Why we collect it
- To review your site and tell you what QuillGrid would publish for it.
- To contact you about the beta, onboarding and pricing.
- To keep the waitlist free of spam and duplicates.
- To learn which channels bring interested websites, so we know where to spend our time.
You give your consent by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your details.
Who can see it
Only the QuillGrid team. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. It is stored on servers run by our hosting provider, Hostinger, and sign-up alerts are delivered through our email provider. Both process it only to run this site for us.
The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Like any web request, that sends your IP address to Google.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or for 24 months after the beta ends, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them. You can also raise a grievance about how we handled them. Email hello@quillgrid.in from the address you signed up with, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
The beta is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
