When you connect, QuillGrid lists your store's blogs. Pick one for each store.

An original cover, never a stock photo, uploaded with the article and given alt text.

Tags set on every article, so your theme's tag filters keep working.

Written to the article's search engine listing fields in Shopify.

Publish straight away, or send articles hidden and publish them from your admin.
Connect
Connected in three steps.
There's no App Store install. You create a custom app in your own admin and give QuillGrid its token.
- In Shopify admin, create a custom app with the read_content and write_content scopes.
- Paste its Admin API access token and your .myshopify.com address into QuillGrid.
- Choose which blog to publish to. QuillGrid lists your blogs for you.
The token only needs those two content scopes, and QuillGrid stores it encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Uninstall the custom app to revoke it.

Title, slug, date, length, structure, placeholder text, claims about your company and 7 checks on the cover. A post that fails is held with the reason, and nothing reaches your site.

Covers fixed automatically
If only the cover fails, QuillGrid makes a new one and checks it again before anything is sent.

Published to Shopify
The article, cover, tags and SEO fields go through the Admin API, live or hidden. An article is never sent twice.

Confirmed live
Once a post is live, QuillGrid loads its public URL and its cover until both are served, and flags the post if it hasn't appeared within 45 minutes.
Do I need an app from the Shopify App Store?
No. You create a custom app in your own Shopify admin with two content scopes, then paste its token into QuillGrid.
Will articles match my theme?
Yes. They're normal Shopify blog articles, so your theme's blog and article templates display them.
Can I check articles before they go live?
Yes. Send them hidden and publish from Shopify, or approve each one in QuillGrid's review queue first.
Can posts link to my products and collections?
Yes. List the pages you want linked in the content profile, such as collections or key products, and posts link to them where they fit.
Can I connect more than one store?
Yes. Each store gets its own connection, content profile and schedule.
